about different reality television shows.
Some reality programs are bad, taking advantage of people in nasty ways, but many are good. This is true of all kinds of television, from soap operas, to comedy and new shows. It is wrong to label the whole genre as bad just because of a few shows. The same is true of people, for we cannot say that all people are good nor that all people are bad. There is nothing about this kind of television show that makes it evil. Reality television has just as much potential as shows with scripts to be a positive influence on society.
